1. Go to the App page and paste your grant award terms into the text area. The text should include sections on reporting requirements, allowable and unallowable costs, prior-approval clauses, and closeout conditions.
2. Click Analyse. The text is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3 8B), which extracts each obligation and returns a structured checklist. No data is saved — the analysis exists only in memory and is discarded when the page is refreshed or closed.
3. Review the checklist. Each obligation shows its category (report, cost, approval, closeout), a description, the due date or value where applicable, and a verbatim quote from the source clause so you can verify it against the original document.
4. If you do not have a specific award document ready, click Load example to see a demonstration with placeholder terms. The analysis runs locally for the example too — it is not pre-built.
No account, login, or email address is needed. Just paste terms and analyse.
No. Obligrant is designed to not store anything. The text you paste is sent to Workers AI for a single inference, and the result is returned to your browser. No copy is kept server-side. There are no accounts, no databases, no cached history, and no saved analyses. Refreshing or closing the page discards everything. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Obligrant is an AI reading aid, not a compliance audit. The LLM (Llama 3 8B) may miss obligations, misinterpret clauses, extract obligations that do not exist, or return nothing from text it cannot recognise as a grant award document. Every obligation shown quotes its source clause so you can verify it against the original. You should always verify the checklist against the full award document and consult a qualified professional for compliance decisions. The service makes no claim of completeness or accuracy and is provided "as is."
The free Starter tier supports up to approximately 32,000 characters per analysis. If your document is longer, consider pasting the terms section by section (e.g. reporting requirements separately from cost provisions). There is no file upload — the text must be pasted directly. The character counter on the App page shows your current text length.
Not yet. Because Obligrant has no accounts, saved history, or server-side storage, there is no built-in export. A PDF export feature (generated in the browser, not server-side) is planned for the Professional tier. For now, the practical options are to copy the results from your browser window, take a screenshot, or print the page using your browser's Print function. Your text input is preserved in the text area until you refresh or navigate away.
No. Obligrant does not have an email sender and cannot send any form of notification — no reminders, alerts, digests, calendar invites, or scheduled re-checks. Deadlines identified in the analysis are displayed on screen only. You are solely responsible for recording deadlines in your own calendar or tracking system. This limitation is stated explicitly on the analysis page itself and in the Terms of Service.
The Professional plan ($29/month) is listed as "Coming soon" because no payment processor is connected to this website. Obligrant cannot accept payments, process subscriptions, or charge any amount at this time. The Starter (free) tier is fully operational. The Professional tier's intended features — larger analyses, browser-side PDF export — will become available when the operator connects a payment processor and enables subscriptions. See the Pricing page for current status.
The following features are described on other pages of this site but are not yet built or are deliberately absent. This section is provided so you know what to expect — and what not to expect — when using Obligrant.
Obligrant does not yet have a registered legal entity, a postal address, or an operational email address. The operator has not established a direct-contact mechanism for this service.
Feedback channel: The App page now includes a built-in feedback form. Your message is stored in the Obligrant database and reviewed. This is the recommended way to send bug reports, feature requests, and general feedback.
If you have a compliance or support question: because no support inbox exists, the operator is not yet reachable through this site. This Help Centre is the current extent of the documentation. When a contact method is established, it will be listed here and in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This is not an evasion — it is an honest statement of the service's current operational state. No contact information has been fabricated to give the impression of a reachable support team that does not exist.
